This software is designed to combine infrared nystagmus camera images with head position information as a head position animation.
If a medical device manufacturer's infrared nystagmus camera device is connected to a Windows PC, the nystagmus image and head position can be recorded simultaneously using this software.
Head position can be input by keyboard or mouse. By creating your own motion sensor device and attaching it to goggles, you can automatically obtain head position information. You can also use the iPhone motion sensor by installing the GyrOSC application on the iPhone.
M5StickCPlus and M5StackAtom are supported to enable automatic head position input via Bluetooth.
When CapNYS2 cannot be started because it says "vcruntime140_1.dll is missing",
download and install "Redistributable packages for Visual Studio 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2022." from Microsoft website.
Above is a screen shot of the manual mode inspection. With a mouse or touch screen, the head position can be entered by clicking or touching any of the nine boxes shown above.
The numeric keypad or keyboard can also be used to enter a head position, although it is limited to nine different positions. If you do not have a numeric keypad, you can use the 789uiojkl key on your keyboard.
If you attach the sensor device (see How to make) to an infrared camera, you can automatically capture the head position data.
The arduino_pro_micro and the MPU-6050 can be purchased for about 1000 yen.
Head position input method No. 3: iPhone motion sensor
If you install GyrOSC on your iPhone (iPod_touch), you can use the gyro (motion sensor) of the iPhone (iPod_touch).
Head position input method #4: M5StickCPlus, M5StackAtom motion sensor
If you install AxisOrange on M5StickCPlus or M5StackAtom, you can input head position via Bluetooth.
If you install VSCode (Visual Studio Code) on a Windows PC (or Mac) and install PlatformIO IDE from Extensions, you can write AxisOrange to M5.
CapNYS.exe is an application for windows-PC which captures the nystagmus. It makes the head animation from the head position and overlay it on the nystagmus movie.
If your VOG system is connected to a windows-PC, you can use this software.

1) key board, mouse clicks, window touch The key board, 789uiojkl keys, can make only 9 types of the head position data. The Ten key board, the mouse and windows touch are available.
